#ShakespeareLives Up For Manchester Animation Festival & Voice Arts Awards

We are pleased to announce that one of the films we produced for the British Council’s #ShakespeareLives campaign, has been selected for two awards this autumn.

The Life & Times of William Shakespeare, a 3 minute film which charts the whole of Shakespeare’s life, has been selected for the Commissioned Films competition at the 2016 Manchester Animation Festival. The film will be screened each day during the 3-day event, with the awards being announced on the 17th November 2016. Watch this space!

Meanwhile, over the pond in LA, our talented voice artist Katie Flamman, who narrated this film and provided character voices for the other films in the series, has been nominated for ‘Best Performance – Outstanding Spoken Word or Storytelling’. This award is part of the annual Voice Arts Awards, hosted by The Society for Voice Arts & Sciences – the voice-artist equivalent of the Academy Awards.
