To coincide with the 400th anniversary of the death of William Shakespeare, the British Council commissioned us to produce seven short Shakespeare animations aimed at 6 – 11 year olds who are learning English as a second language; originally available only to subscribers of the LearnEnglish Kids: Playtime app, but now free for everyone on the LearnEnglish Kids website.
Six of these films are fun, simplified summaries of Shakespeare’s most popular plays, while the seventh is a short animation of Shakespeare’s life and times. You can view this film, plus ‘A Midsummer Nights Dream’ below.
